1″ PP Compression Tee

A PP (Polypropylene) compression tee is a type of pipe fitting used to  connect a piping system to maintain a straight run of pipe.

It’s called a “compression” tee because it utilizes compression fittings to make connections to the pipes.

Here’s what it typically includes:

• Main Body (Tee) : The main component is the tee itself, which has three openings, forming a “T” shape. One opening serves as the inlet, and the other two serve as outlets for connecting to pipes or tubing.
• The tee allows fluid to flow in one direction to the main line  into two separate directions through outlets.
• Compression Fittings : PP compression tees utilize compression fittings on each opening to secure the pipes or tubing in place. These compression fittings typically consist of a compression ring (or ferrule) and a compression nut.
• When the compression nut is tightened onto the fitting, it compresses the ring against the pipe, creating a tight seal.
• PP compression tees are known as ease of installation as they didn’t require any special tools & equipment.
